Work-From-Home Is The Latest In-thing In Job Market

Thanks to Covid, Remote Working or Work-from-Home is becoming increasingly becoming the most sought after job. The latest job surveys have shown that there is a three-time increase in the job appointments in the job sector. The study also showed that the number of applicants for the remote jobs has also grown by seven times.
Famed job portal naukri.com has said that the searches for remote jobs have gone up exponentially. According to naukri.com, the searches for work-from-home have gone up by four times from 2019 to 2020. It said that even those working in sales, business development and customer care sectors are preferring to work from home. The study said that the employees prefer remote working as it saves on time, money and is giving them more time to spend with their family.
The study further said that mostly BPO/ITES, e commerce, online education, teaching and publishing sectors are seeing lot of applications for the work-from-home jobs. Some sectors like travel and staffing, where there are better opportunities for remote working, however, are witnessing a negative growth.
