The ongoing Coronavirus, which has its roots from the Wuhan province of China has spread to more than 200 nations across the globe. To tackle the pandemic, researchers across the globe have intensified the efforts on manufacturing vaccines.

When the vaccines are inching towards the final stage, the pandemic situations took a frightening turn with Coronavirus changing its form. Across the globe, more than 20 strains of Coronavirus were found.

Out of the new variants found earlier in 2020, the United Kingdom and South African variants are raising many concerns. Compared to Covid-19 causing strain, the UK strain is more deadly and transmissible. South African strain is highly transmissible compared to the UK strain.

As if the existing fears are not enough, the researchers during their study have detected the world's first co-infection of the Coronavirus. A person was infected with two strains of the coronavirus.

The researchers in southern Brazil in their study have detected patients who were infected with two different strains of Coronavirus at a time.

The researchers have tested 90 patients during the study. A person was found infected with two variants. The researchers have marked the strains as P1, P2. P1 is a more dangerous strain reportedly.

It is said that the symptoms of one strain were found as dry cough, while coughing, sore throat, and headache are the symptoms in the second strain.
