The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) chose Mathura, which is the birth place of Lord Krishna, to build the world's tallest temple. The 700-feet high skyscraper is spread across 5.5 acres and it will have 70 floors.

Soon-to-be World's tallest Hindu temple was named 'Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir'. Its going to be a blend of traditional Nagara style architecture and modern architecture.

This project is estimated to cost over Rs 300 crore. Money for the construction of the tallest Hindu structure will be raised through donations from devotees all over the World. Recreating Dwapara Yug in the premises is the speciality of the temple. The viewing tower right at the top could fecilitate panorama view of Mathura, Agra and Yamuna river. A theme park would be established in the temple. For Kids, Park Raids, Animatranics, Light n Sound Show, Vraja Mandal Parikrama Show and Laser Show will be arranged. 30 acres around the temple is an artificial forest region. This project would take 5 years to complete.

Saint Peter's Basilica in Vatican is the tallest religious structure in the World. 'Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir' could replace it within few years.
