Wrong Strategy From Pawan Kalyan Again
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Feb 2019 6:46 AM GMTThe elections in Telangana are over and Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena has not contested the elections. Instead, it extended support to the Bahujana Left Front led by the CPM. Though Pawan was to campaign in Khammam, the stronghold of the CPM, he finally opted out. The BLF too performed poorly by losing deposits in every seat it contested. So, for all practical purposes, the Jana Sena is a complete washout in Telangana.
One thought Pawan Kalyan gave a walkover in Telangana as he has to concentrate on the Andhra region, where he has high stakes. But, now it turns out that instead of focusing on Andhra Pradesh, he is focusing on constituting committees for parliamentary constituencies in Telangana. He has already constituted committees for Medak, Nalgonda, Bhuvanagiri and Warangal parliamentary committees.
The working committees have 32 members each and the executive committees have 11 members each. Before these, he has announced cmmittees for Malkajgiri, Khammam and Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituencies. It appears he is focusing on the Lok Sabha elections in both the states. But, will such late announcement work for the Jana Sena with elections barely a couple of months away?
