WTC Final: No opening session due to rain effect

As a piece of bad news for the cricket fans, the first session of World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand in Southampton has been washed away due to rain.
As per the schedule, the match was supposed to commence at 3pm (IST). Given the rain effect, the pitch was covered and the toss has been delayed.Taking to Twitter, ICC announced that toss has been delayed and the opening session of the game will not be played.
