Wuhan Scientists Admits Being Bitten By Covid-19 Infected Bats
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 Jan 2021 12:32 PM GMTWhile the scientists across the world are trying to find the origin and patient zero of Coronavirus, the scientists at the Wuhan lab in China have confessed being bitten by coronavirus-infected bats while collecting samples in a cave.
According to a report on Sunday, a researcher said that one animal's fangs had gone through his gloves like a needle while he was collecting samples in a cave in 2017.
A video that emerged two years ago, before the coronavirus outbreak revealed some shocking incidents that the staff inside the top-secret facility were also seen handling infected bats without gloves and working on live viruses without protection in clear breach of strict World Health Organisation safety rules on PPE.
Despite the fact that the scientists work in a biosafety level 4 lab, they reveal a shocking disregard for safety when working on possibly contagious bats both in the wild and in the lab.
