Y category security for rabble-rousing BJP MP

The Central leadership of the BJP is said to be quite serious over the spate of attacks on its leaders in Telangana. The Central Government is planning to provide Y category security to its Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind. The Y category security entails appointment of 4 more personnel in addition to the 2+2 security that is already there.
This decision was taken after the twin attacks on Aravind in recent times. The mobs, purportedly supporters of the ruling TRS in Telangana, have attacked his residence in Armoor. Later, the mobs descended on his Hyderabad residence and damaged the car, house and furniture. The BJP has taken the issue quite seriously and has decided to provide him with security.
Aravind is currently on a tour of Delhi and has met both Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda. He is said to have apprised the duo about the situation in the state. He is said to have also discussed the likely new joinings into the party. During the course of the discussions, the issue of attacks on his house came up and the leaders told him that he would be provided with adequate security.
The BJP leaders feel that the party cadres in West Bengal and Telangana were under attack. If not checked, this would leave the party cadres demoralized. The party leadership also feels that the party would be perceived as a weak one if it goes soft on such incidents. Hence, action has been initiated in case of Dharmapuri Aravind.
