Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer gave birth to twin baby girls. On Thursday, She shared her joy on Twitter & Yahoo-owned blogging platform Tumblr.
Marissa Mayer said She and her Husband Zach Bogue are excited about the arrival of the identical twins. "Our whole family is doing great! Thanks to everyone for all of the support and well wishes throughout my pregnancy," she wrote.
Not many knew, Marissa Mayer once worked in a grocery store. She worked for Google before joining Yahoo as the CEO. Forbes Magazine named her as 22nd Most Powerful Woman and her pay package of $42 million per year finds her a place in the list of best-paid executives.
Just recently, Yahoo decided to change its strategy completely keeping the revenue generation in mind. The company wishes to keep its stake in Alibaba but spin off its core internet business that failed to take on Google & Facebook.
