TDP is gaining a lot than expected by stepping out of Narendra Modi Cabinet. It managed to lower the anguish of people at least to some extent. Though the move neither fetches Special Status nor speeden up the implementation of promises made in AP Reorganization Act 2014, Ruling Party willn't be under pressure to offer BJP it's share in the nominated posts anymore.
Finance Minister Yanamala wishes to become a Rajya Sabha Member. Whereas, TDP doesn't have the required strength to win all the three vacant MP Seats. Even if TDP aims to win all of them, BJP MLAs mayn't support it in the current situation. So, TDP Leadership might field only two Rajya Sabha Candidates this time. Buzz is that Chandrababu informed Yanamala that he can't offer Rajya Sabha seat but assured TTD Chairman post to his Close Family Member.
When the terms were good, BJP demanded 3 TTD Board posts as it's quota. Now, Telugu Desam needn't have to offer any posts to the Saffron Party. TDP Leaders feel this is the right time to fill all the nominated posts.
