YCP, TRS & BJD To Back BJP-Led Coalition Govt!
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 May 2019 5:23 AM GMTThe Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Reports makes public believe that three regional parties will play key role in making Narendra Modi continue as the Prime Minister for second term.
As per the report, NDA will fell short of the magic figure (272 Seats). YS Jaganmohan Reddy-led YSR Congress, KCR-led TRS and Naveen Patnaik-led BJD could extend support to the NDA.
EIU's Research Analyst Shreyans Bhaskar says BJP's populist schemes and the pressure to maintain good terms with allies will increase the public expenditure in the second term. He even predicts that BJP's relations with Right-Wing Groups will be strained during this term as the focus would be more on appeasing Coalition Partners.
People of AP would only hope to see YCP play a crucial role in the Central Government as Special Category Status will bail out the state from crisis. Modi couldn't say no to the bifurcation promise if he is under pressure to maintain good terms with Jagan.
