YCP Tsunami Crushes TDP In Rural Segments

Telugu Desam Party slipped to an all-time low tally with the dismal performance in the 2019 Elections. Even YCP Leaders hadn't expected the drop in TDP poll prospects to such an extent.
TDP won 23 out of 175 Assembly Constituencies. Only five segments (Parchuru, Tekkali, Undi, Uravakonda, Kondapi) out of them completely comprises villages. All the remaining Seats are either towns or cities.
Telugu Desam Party will be pleased to win Visakha West, Visakha North and Visakha South. Still, YCP MP Candidate MVV Satyanarayana emerged victorious here and Balayya's Son-in-Law Sri Bharath faced defeat.
TDP won Rajahmundry City & Rajahmundry Rural Constituencies. The other seats include Kuppam, Hindupur, Addanki, Chirala, Gannavaram, Guntur West, Ichchapuram, Mandapeta. Peddapuram, Repalle, Vijayawada East and Palakollu.
