YCP's VV Deeksha outshines TDP's Dharma Poratam Meeting

YSR Congress Party's day-long hunger strike 'Vanchana Vytireka Deeksha' at Visakha on Monday overshadowed AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's Vanchanadhinam in Tirupati. There was ample media coverage for the protest staged by Main Opposition from 7 AM to 7 PM. YCP MPs, MLAs, MLCs, In-Charges and Coordinators took part in the deeksha. The attendance for the deeksha staged in front of the women's college has been massive.
Leaders who took part in 'Vanchana Vytireka Deeksha' wore black clothes to protest the injustice being done by State and Central Governments. Even BJP wasn't spared by the YSRC for backtracking on the key promises.
Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy not only found fault Modi but also slammed Chandrababu for the crisis in AP. He made it clear YCP planned Deeksha as it was on this day in 2014 then PM Candidate Modi assured Special Status to AP.
Ambati Rambabu slammed BJP Netas for allegedly spreading false statements about Special Categort Status. He maintained Modi, Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan had jointly promised to develop AP. 'Unfortunately, BJP Leaders are now saying their party never promised Special Status,' he told.
