Ravi Prakash's Counsel moved a petition in the High Court on Monday seeking bail and exemption from appearing before the Cyberabad Police who is investigating the forgery, data theft and logo sale cases. Much to the shock of the Former TV9 CEO, High Court turned down the bail petition on Wednesday.
Until now, Cops served notices to Ravi Prakash under 160 CrPC twice and 41A once seeking his presence before them for questioning. Even a Lookout Notice was issued after he refused to cooperate to the investigation. Airports and Ports have been alerted to prevent his escape to other countries.
Government's Counsel informed High Court that Ravi Prakash has been in touch with his close pals during the period he went absconding. High Court denied bail to Ravi Prakash upon hearing the arguments of both the Lawyers.
In Today's video message, Ravi Prakash came down heavily on My Home Group head Rameshwara Rao who owns majority stake in ABCL describing him as 'Danika Swamy'. He complained that Cops have been treating him like a terrorist by following the orders of Influential Personality.
