BJP Plans To Rename Nehru's Birth Place

Yogi Adityanath-led BJP Government in Uttar Pradesh is mulling to rechristen Allahabad as Pragyaraj. A decision in this regard is expected ahead of Kumbh Mela in 2019.
Prayag is a holy place in Allahabad where three rivers (Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati) meet. This is where Kumbh Mela is being conducted once in every 12 years. Many Seers had met UP CM in the past demanding renaming of Allahabad before Kumbh Mela begins on January 15th, 2019.
UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya says Prayag found the identity of Allahabad and hence the city is being named after it. Pragyaraj can be found on several banners set up in the state for Kumbh Mela 2019 instead of Allahabad.
India's First PM Jawaharlal Nehru was born in Allahabad. Indira Gandhi was brought up here. Even Today, Nehru Family Homes exist in this city. So, How does Congress Party react to the name change?
