CM offers Condoms as Marriage Gift

Uttar Pradesh Government is going to present a kit equipped with condoms and contraceptives to newly married couples under the new initiative (Mission Parivar Vikas) of Centre to be launched on July 11th. CM Yogi Adityanath has given directions in this regard.
The free kit has been named as 'Nayi Pahal'. ASHA Workers will be distributing these kits to the just married couples. Even the kits contain brochures with necessary guidelines for create awareness about safe sex, family planning & responsibilities of married life.
As per a recent study by The Lancet Journal, India is ranked 143rd among 188 nations in health matters. Most of India's population is being contributed by Uttar Pradesh where the fertility rate stood at 3.3.
7 States (UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Rajasthan, Chhatisgarh) contribute 28 percent of Nation's total population. Mission Parivar Vikas is going to be launched in 145 districts of these states.
