Spine-Chilling Honor Killing Incident Surfaced In Hyderabad

The practice of honour killing which is prevalent in the northern region of India has shocked Telangana as in a suspected honour killing incident, a newlywed youth was killed in Hyderabad.
Going into detail, Hemanth, a resident of Chandanagar, Hyderabad, and Avanthi of the same area got married around four months ago. However, Avanthi's parents are against the marriage.
On Thursday, Hemanth was abducted from the Gachibowli area. Later, his body was found in the Sangareddy district. The Police FIR stated that the duo belongs to two different castes.
While speaking to the media, Avanthi held her uncle Yugandhar Reddy responsible for his and said he is the one who abducted her husband. She demanded to encounter people who were responsible for this.
The cops arrested 13 members of Avanthi's family members in connection with this murder. Hemath was brutally murdered and his dead body was found in a field in Singareddy district.
A similar incident took place on September 14th, 2018, where 24-year-old Dalit youth was brutally murdered in broad daylight by an unknown assailant outside the Jyothi Hospital in Miryalaguda.
