Seems YSRCP president YS Jagan started his works as opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh and the defatted leader fired his guns towards the newly elected CM.In his open letter to YS Jagan has asked Babu to implement the loan-waiver scheme without any restrictions.

YS Jagan alleged that Chandrababu and his party have even given adverts in the newspapers asking the farmers not to repay loans and they would waive them when they come to power. Now that they have come to power, why is the delay, Jagan asked.

‘’Farmers are unable to get loans. People believed your promises on loan-waiver and voted for you. You didn’t made mention about Committees in your manifesto. Why was a committee being appointed on the issue?.Without any delay, we urge you to waive crop-loans, gold-loans, and agricultural loans as promised by you. It is improper to constitute committees as it delays further and pushes farmers into hopeless condition."

Jagan also criticized Chndrababu for his promises on welfare pensions and demolishing belt shops. ‘Babu had earlier assured to pay between Rs 1000 to 1500 towards welfare pensions; he now says it would be done in two phases. We really don’t understand the motto behind this. In case of belt shops, Chandrababu has signed on an order abolishing belt shops. Since all belt shops are illegal, where was the question of abolishing them’’, asked Jagan.

ItÂ’s worth to mention here that Chandrababu made his first signature on loan waiver for farmers and women self-help groups. He promised to appoint a committee which will report the procedure of waiver and ensure people to get new loans as soon as possible.
