YS Vijayamma never showed any interest in politics until YSR was alive. Post the shocking demise of YSR, She decided to extend her moral support to Jagan who is fighting against all the odds. Never did she compromise on values and dignity despite being in the politics. You could never expect a single unnecessary word from her whenever she speaks and that's her reputation.
Recently, YS Vijayalakshmi went to Delhi to show her solidarity to the Party MPs who took up indefinite fast. It's a reflection of the human angle of YSR Family Members and how much they care for their leaders, workers and supporters.
In Delhi, YS Vijayamma delivered a sensible speech: 'We are appealing Modi to fulfill the promises made to AP with a namaskar to his feet. YCP have no intention to dethrone Modi, we even knew we can't script the collapse of NDA Government even if we attempt. We just moved the Motion hoping there will be a debate on issues related to AP. When YCP MPs are sincerely continuing the fast, TDP Leaders have been commenting - 3 Wickets Fell Already...If Two More Wickets Fall, They Will Compromise With BJP. It's unfair to spread such a bad propaganda! If the promises made in Parliament aren't fulfilled, How could people have any hope on the Government? Centre isn't treating issues of AP even with minimal responsibility. At least now, Chandrababu Naidu should make his MPs resign for Special Status'.
