YS Viveka Case: CBI quizzing senior family member
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Aug 2021 10:15 AM GMTThe Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) is probing into the YS Vivekananda murder case at a brisk pace over the past few weeks. So far a few key accused in the case were already quizzed by the CBI sleuths as part of the probe.
As a sensational development, the CBI has questioned YS Prakash Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's uncle today. This is the first time Prakash Reddy was quizzed by the officials.
Prakash Reddy, a businessman by profession is said to be the most respected person in the YS family. Despite being away from the political arena, he enjoys good respect among the family members.
With Prakash Reddy being questioned by the CBI officers, a doubt on alleged family issues and internal issues surfaced. It is said that CBI sleuths are reportedly questioning him along the same lines.
As YS Prakash Reddy is believed to be the first person who always sorts out the issues and differences among the family members, he is expected to face a few questions on the same on whether he heard about any issues earlier, reports claimed.
It is also said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy never misses an opportunity to meet YS Prakash Reddy whenever he is in Pulivendula. This shows how Prakash Reddy is respected by the family members.
Prakash Reddy, who also happens to be the uncle of Kadapa Lok Sabha member Y. S. Avinash Reddy was asked by the CBI to appear before them for questioning at the Pulivendula R&B Guest House on Monday. The questioning is underway and more details are awaited.
The case was transferred to the CBI after YS Viveka's daughter Sunitha Reddy expressed her dissatisfaction over the slow development in the probe by the AP CID. To transfer the case, she had moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
YS Viveka was found dead at his residence in 2019. The murder incident has created a sensation across the two Telugu states with the former Lok Sabha member and brother of former Chief Minister YSR getting murdered brutally that too at his residence. A case of suspicious murder was registered by the cops.
