YSR Congress MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy challenged TDP to win at least five MP seats in 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. 'Chandrababu Naidu seeks 25 MP Seats from People to play a key role in national politics. Let him win at least 5 seats in the next elections. YCP is likely to win not less than 20 MP seats and 140 MLA seats in 2019 polls,' he commented.
The Nellore MP made it clear YSR Congress isn't part of any of the existing fronts, be it BJP Front, Congress Front, Third Front or Federal Front. He even informed YCP willn't be having pre-poll alliance with any party.
Mekapati informed YSRC MPs will meet Speaker Sumithra Mahajan on May 29th to offer an explanation on why they quit and seek approval of their resignations. Post this meeting, Lok Sabha Speaker might approve the resignations of five MPs. If that happens, There is every possibility of by-elections happening in AP by the end of 2018.
