He had a striking presence with his trademark safari dress, dark skin and snow white hair Ever since YSR's unfortunate demise, he maintained a low profile and avoided media glare
However, he recently surfaced at Revanth Reddy's protest rally at Raviryala. He got onto the dais, congratulated Revanth and then simple disappeared. But this time around, he is back in the news. He has been attacked. The attacker is his son-in-law Surendranath Reddy. He and Suri's daughter Ganga Bhavani have parted ways and Ganga Bhavani is staying with her parents. However, Surendranath Reddy has been calling her up and is said to be harassing her Based on Ganga Bhavani's complaint, the Jubilee Hills police have booked a case of domestic violence against Reddy Since then, he has been pressurizing Ganga Bhavani to withdraw the cases.
On Wednesday, Reddy barged into Suri's house and attacked Suri on his head with a cricket bat. Suri has been rushed to a hospital, where he is under treatment. A case of assault has been booked against Surendranath Reddy.
