YSR Health Clinics To Be Built In Government Buildings

The Andhra Pradesh government headed by YSRCP Chief, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has speeded up the efforts and steps to provide quality treatment at the doorstep in the state.
As part of this, the government directed the concerned officials to complete the YSR Health Clinics at the village level so that the villages across the state to strengthen the health care system.
The government decided to set up 10,000 YSR Health across the state with all the latest equipment and facilities that too in the government buildings, to see that no issue arises.
Currently, a lion share of the Health sub-centers was being accommodated in private buildings. Some sub-centers are in the worst condition and even lack the medical facilities and required medicines.
Out of the 10,000 YSR health Clinics, 8,724 centers are at the construction level while the remaining centers are in a good position and the centers are offering required services.
East Godavari which is the worst-hit region with the pandemic outbreak will get 1,100 YSR Health Clinics, the highest for any region. The health Sub-center will be set up for every 2,500 people.
These health sub-centers will have a mid-level health provider and at least 90 types of medicines and vaccines will be available at the centers.
