The No Confidence Motion moved by YSR Congress in AP Assembly got defeated by voice vote on Monday night. As soon as Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao announced that the Motion of Main Opposition has fallen flat, YSR Congress lawmakers reached Speaker's podium to press for division. However, Speaker refused to entertain them and called for debate on the Budget. As YCP MLAs continued to disrupt the proceedings, Speaker adjourned the House.

A heated argument took place between YS Jagan and Chandrababu Naidu earlier in the day. Jagan demanded a CBI on the irregularities in AP Capital land deals, irrigation projects, coal purchases, industrial incentives, sand deals and solar energy hub.

Whereas, Chandrababu Naidu reiterated his Government has been implementing all the schemes and programmes in a transparent manner. He also reminded the YCP Members that more than 20 enquiry commissions have been ordered against him by former CM late YSR but was unable to prove any of the charges. Chandrababu Naidu even appealed Speaker to take action against YSR Congress President for making baseless allegations against the Government.

In response, Jagan accused Naidu of obtaining stay orders from courts to protect himself.
