YSRCP's Key Leader From Nandyal Murdered

In a gruesome political murder, a staunch YSRCP leader has been brutally killed by his rivals in broad daylight. The incident occurred in politically sensitive Nandyal town. The deceased has been identified as V Subbarayudu, a well-known YSRCP leader and a popular advocate.
There was an earlier attempt on the life of Subbarayudu in 2017. During the Nandyal byelections, he was attacked by miscreants. The incident occurred on August 14, 2017. He had a providential escape from the attack.
This time, however, he was not successful. He was on his morning walk on Friday when miscreants attacked him with sticks and rods. They brutally bludgeoned him to death. When he did not return home at the usual time, his family members began frantic search for him and they found him lying in a pool of blood in a place. They immediately informed the police, who rushed to the spot to take up investigation.
According to the family sources, the TDP could be behind his death. They said that the TDP did not like him to work for the YSRCP and warned him several times.
Local MLA Ravichandra Reddy Silpa rushed to Subbarayudu's residence to condole his death. He consoled the family members and assured that the culprits would be brought to book. The Clues team and the Dog Squad have been deployed to zero in on the perpetrators.
