Loose Talk lands AP Speaker in trouble

YSR Congress Party isn't in a mood to let go any opportunity to irk the Ruling Party. In a candid chit chat, AP Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao disclosed that his election expenditure for the 2014 Polls stood at a staggering Rs 11.5 crore. Now, The Main Opposition uses it as a weapon to trouble the Speaker and TDP Government.
On Tuesday, YSR Congress party leaders met Chief Election Officer Bhanwarlal to give a representation seeking suspension of Kodela Siva Prasad Rao as MLA and Speaker of AP Legislative Assembly. They even submitted proofs (excerpts from a TV Channel interview) to show Kodela has violated the norms to win the election.
Bhanwarlal assured that appropriate action would be taken against Speaker after watching the footage and based on the probe report.
Kodela contested on TDP Ticket from Sattenapalli Assembly segment in 2014 Election.
