Roja appears before Privileges Committee

YSR Congress MLA R.K. Roja has finally appeared before the Privileges Committee of the Andhra Pradesh legislature Assembly. Roja had been served notices on two earlier occasions but she did not attended before the committee citing health reasons.
The committee has served notices again and asked her to provide the explanation. She attended the hearing on Wednesday in response to the notices served on her again. She has attended before the committee in connection with a complaint lodged against her by TDP MLA Vangalapudi . The House accepted the recommendation of the Privileges Committee to give one more opportunity to Roja to appear before it.
Anitha,Roja was suspended from the house for one year during the winter session for allegedly using abusive language against ruling party members including Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu
The privileges committee of the Andhra Pradesh assembly has recommended a one year suspension of R.K. Roja from the house and the actress has challenged the decision on Supreme court. Roja said she would also continue her legal battle against the injustice meted to her by the Assembly.
