The bill for bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh was Monday tabled in the state assembly amid protests by legislators from Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra regions .Amidst noisy scenes, the Assembly Secretary Raja Sadaram read out the letter sent by the President and the brief contents of the bill.

Legislators from the two sides stormed the Speaker's podium, holding placards and raising slogans in support of their respective demands, and disrupted the proceedings.

The legislators from Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) stood as a wall to fend off their counterparts from Seemandhra (Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra) who were raising slogans opposing the bifurcation.Following uproar, the Speaker adjourned the House for 30 minutes.

While Speaking at the media point in the Assembly premises the Telangana legislators, hailed that the introduction of the bill as the historic occasion However, Other side Seemandhra leaders denounced the manner in which the government introduced the bill in the House.

Some of TRS MLAs and Telangana Congress MLAs threw chairs at the YSRCP MLAs for protesting the T-bill. Situation turns worse with YSR Congress Party MLAs taking to burning the Telangana Bill in protest.

Congregating at the media point in the Assembly, the YSRCP MLAs send out a strong message by burning the Telangana Bill, in defiance to the proposed state division and shouting 'Jai Samaikyandhra'. They even questioned the motive behind introducing the T Bill in the Assembly without conducting Business Advisory Council.
