YSRCP Tirupati MP Passed Away At Chennai Apollo Hospital

Tirupati MP Balli Durga Prasad Rao, who is believed to be suffering from prolonged illness for quite some time contacted the ongoing COVID-19 and got admitted to Apollo hospital 15 days back.
Since then, the MP was being treated at the Apollo Hospital. However, the treatment couldn't save the lawmaker and Durga Prasad Rao passed away sadly.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and other leaders condoled the death of the Tirupati MP.
Talking about his political career, he entered politics in 1985 and joined the TDP party. He won the elections as MLA from Guduru Constituency in four terms, 1985, 1994,1999, 2009.
Before the 2019 general elections, he shifted his loyalty from TDP to YSRCP and wore the party shawl. He emerged victoriously from the Tirupati constituency in the elections.
