YSRCP MP Reddappa Tested Positive For Coronavirus

The MP was diagnosed without any symptoms and the officials asked him to stay in isolation. The officials will test those who are in close contact with him.
All MPs must undergo a COVID-19 test before attending a Parliamentary session. They have to get their COVID test done within 72 hours before the start of the Parliamentary session at any government authorised hospital/laboratory or at Parliament House Complex.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had said that Chambers will be sanitised before the MPs attend the session. As of now, 24 MPs and 8 Union Ministers across the country have tested positive for the virus.
