Butta Renuka Can't Be Invited: Vijay Sai Reddy
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 July 2018 10:59 AM GMTPolitical atmosphere in New Delhi heated up with the Monsoon Session of Parliament beginning Tomorrow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened an All-Party Meeting regarding the same.
Much to everyone's shock, Kurnool MP Butta Renuka who shifted her loyalties to TDP despite winning on YCP Ticket was also invited for the All-Party Meeting. YSR Congress MP Vijay Sai Reddy questioned Centre on what grounds a defector MP was invited for the meeting. Recalling that petition seeking her disqualification is still in pending, He asked Union Minister Ananth Kumar how could Butta Renuka be invited on behalf of the party. He even complained to the Prime Minister on this matter.
Opposition Parties have extended complete support to Vijay Sai Reddy who exposed violation of norms at the highest level. In reply, Minister Ananth Kumar defended the move saying Speaker is yet to disqualify Butta Renuka.
Vijay Sai Reddy alleged TDP-BJP has conspired and they don't want the house to function properly. He accused TDP of lacking the commitment on Special Category Status. 'While Chandrababu can't speak English, Lokesh don't even know Telugu. Telugu Dongala Party MPs have been meeting Opposition Leaders. We will know what drama they would enact Tomorrow,' he commented.
On the other hand, TDP MP Kesineni Nani submitted notice to Lok Sabha Speaker for moving No Confidence Motion against Centre once again.
