YSR Congress Party has been fighting for Special Category Status in different forms since the past four years. Now, The movement has come to a crucial stage and YS Jagan declared his party MPs would submit resignations soon after the end of ongoing budget session.
TDP MPs, on the other hand, aren't ready to offer resignations though just one year was left for the next election. They began spreading bad propaganda that YCP MPs are just making tall claims but they wouldn't resign at all.
Whereas, Jagan and YCP Leaders stood firm on their decision to resign. In fact, YSRC MPs have been carrying resignation letters in their pockets to offer them to Speaker soon after the adjournment of Budget Session.
The resignations of YSR Congress MPs would generate political heat in Andhra Pradesh. This move would mount pressure on both TDP Government and Centre for sure.
