YSRCP requested to ban Legend film

Going by the media speculations, Telugu Desam Party is going to field Nandamuri Balakrishna for Hindupur Assembly constituency. It is said that the actor will submit his nomination on 16th of this month and begin the election campaign there.
On the other side, YSR Congress had submitted a requisition letter to Anantapur Collector to ban BalakrishnaÂ’s Legend movie.
In the letter they stated that the movie is heavily in favor of Telugu Desam Party and there are several dialogues in the film supporting the party. So, they requested to halt the movie till the elections are complete. However, collector refused to take immediate action. He stated that action can only be considered after BalayyaÂ’s candidature is confirmed.
Hindupur is a strong forte for Telugu Desam since NTRÂ’s tenure. On the other side, Nominations in the Seema Andhra region will be accepted from today.
