Case Booked Against Yuvraj For Casteist Remarks

Indian opener Rohit Sharma also faced the heat for not stopping the Left hand batsman from making the casteist remark.
Recently Indian Wice Captain Rohit Sharma and former All rounder Yuvraj Singh participated in an Instagram live chat. Talking about the TikToks videos made by the spinner Yuvraj Singh called him 'bhangi'.
Though the live chat took place in April, the video clip of Yuvraj calling the spinner bhangi went rounds on social media with the case being filed on the left hand batsman.
Dalit activist Rajat Kalsan who is also a lawyer by profession filed a complaint against Yuvraj Singh for making such a casteist remark. In his complaint, he also called out Rohit Sharma for not stopping him from using such words.
Not only that Netizens even demanded an apology from the former all rounder for his remark. Netizens made #YuvrajSinghMaafiMaango (#YuvrajSinghApologise) trend on Twitter.
