Resignations OK Babu.. Why Are You Continuing In NDA?
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 March 2018 5:48 AM GMTBreaks applied to the four-year friendly journey of TDP-BJP. As soon as the Central Government clarified its stand on assistance to AP, the situations changed fast in Amaravati. CM Chandrababu Naidu gave a strong response to Jaitley statements. Chandrababu called for an emergency meeting with the ministers. He interacted with the MPs in Delhi through teleconference and asked them about their opinions.
The MPs reportedly told Chandrababu that it is unnecessary to continue in the central government as they have clarified that they will not give Special Category Status. They have suggested Chandrababu that it is right time to take a decision. Chandrababu also spoke with the two central ministers to know their opinions. Then he announced that two TDP ministers are quitting from the central cabinet. He said that the ministers will submit their resignations today.
Opposition parties reactions were different on these developments. YCP MP YV Subbareddy criticised that BJP, TDP started a new drama as they understood the anger among the public. He said that TDP ministers resigning from the central cabinet is a drama. He said that one way they are saying that they will resign.. on the other way they are continuing in the NDA.. it is nothing but double standard of Chandrababu. YV Subbareddy fired on Chandrababu that they have been compromising on state development for the minister posts. He demanded Chandrababu that he should work for the state at least now.
On the other hand, Left party leaders welcomed the decision of Chandrababu. CPI leader Narayana said that he is welcoming the decision of TDP. He said that he is happy that Chandrababu recognised at least now that the BJP has been cheating on them. Narayana went on to say that BJP may resort to revenge on Chandrababu for his decision but he suggested that Babu should fight with them with courageously.
