Zanjeer/Toofan Total Collections: Worst in Charan career!

Zanjeer/Toofan, the first ever bi-lingual of Ram Charan, is an unforgettable nightmare for the young hero as it couldn't even collect at least 50 percent of the production cost to end up as the biggest loss venture in his career, apart from negativity from critics and movie buffs.
As per the estimates, Zanjeer/Toofan was made with a budget of Rs 70-plus crores. However, it managed to collect just Rs 33 crore in both the versions by the end of its total run. A loss of nearly Rs 40 crore to the people associated with the project is one more proof to say audience weren't ready to tolerate poor content, no matter how big the star might be. Even lavish budgets and aggressive promotions could hardly help the film to sustain at the Box Office if the film lacks engaging screenplay.
Finally, Zanjeer/Toofan is worst that could happen for Ram Charan. Our Mega Hero should now start from 'Zero' if he still wishes to make a name for himself in Bollywood.
