Hyderabad-based Doctor duped of Rs 35 lakh

Venu, a Hyderabad-based Doctor, has been cheated to the tune of Rs 35 lakh on the pretext of a lucrative job offer in USA.
As per the complaint, Venu uploaded his resume on various job portals in April this year. Within few days, He received an email from a Hospital in USA informing him that his qualification fulfilled their requirement. Later, a person claiming to be Human Resource Manager issued an appointment letter to him through an email. He was asked to obtain work visa from US Embassy in New Delhi by the stranger. It was then few people claiming to be Officials of US Embassy in Delhi came in touch with him and asked him to deposit lakhs of money in various bank accounts towards visa processing fee, income tax certificate and others.
After realizing that he was cheated on pretext of offering a job in America, Venu approached Cyber Crime Police on Sunday and filed a complaint. Based on the emails and bank account numbers, Cops were trying to trace the fraudsters.
