Andhra Pradesh Government's AadudamAndhra Initiative Kickstarts!

Andhra Pradesh which is going through an overall development under the leadership of dynamic leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is gearing up to hold massive sports celebrations under which various sports events will be held at various levels. Massive arrangements were made for the big sports event.

The sports event titled Aadudam Andhra will be held for 50 days at various levels. Starting from 15th of December the celebrations will last till the 3rd of February. Cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, and badminton were picked for the celebrations. The events will be held at village/ward, mandal, constituency, district, and state levels.

The state government came up with the "Aadudam Andhra" initiative to encourage youth above 15 to participate in sports and develop a healthy lifestyle. The celebrations also aim at helping the youths understand the importance of sports.

Under the "Aadudam Andhra" celebrations 2.99 lakh matches will be held overall. 1.5 lakh matches will be played at 15,004 village/ward secretariats, 1.42 lakh matches at 680 mandals,5250 matches in 175 constituencies, 312 matches in 26 districts, and 250 matches at the state level. Players who record wins from the initial levels will pass through the stages and reach the state-level leagues.

Players will be presented with certificates, trophies, and medals. Cash prizes will also be given to the players. The state government arranged for all the sports equipment that is required for the celebrations and was dispersed.

The grounds and stadiums for the sports events were also finalized. Trainers, physical directors, and physical education trainers were given training on the rules and regulations of the sports events.

The registrations for Aadudam Andhra will start on November 27 which is today. Anyone above 15 years of age is eligible to participate and they can enroll themselves in the events at the nearby Secretariat. Participants can enroll themselves on the https://aadudamandhra.ap.gov.in portal or they can also call the toll-free number 1902.
