Meet Richest RS Nominee With 2600 crore!

The upcoming Raja Sabha elections are just a few weeks from now, and the discussion has started on this matter already. Now we have a very interesting story about a nominee from Telangana.

Abhishek Manu Singhvi, a senior leader of the Indian National Congress, has declared total family assets worth ₹2,558 crore in his nomination for the Rajya Sabha.

According to the affidavit submitted during the nomination process, Singhvi disclosed extensive movable and immovable assets owned by him and his family members. The total declared wealth amounts to ₹2,558 crore, reflecting significant investments in properties, financial assets and other holdings.

Out of the total assets, movable properties are valued at around ₹1,536 crore. Immovable properties are estimated to be worth ₹568 crore. In addition, Singhvi has reported jewellery worth approximately ₹51 lakh. The declaration also mentions cash holdings of about ₹69.99 lakh.

The affidavit further states that Singhvi owns luxury vehicles and valuable personal assets. Reports indicate that he has high end cars and other valuables worth nearly ₹60 crore combined.

Apart from these, bank deposits and other financial investments form a major portion of the declared wealth. His wife’s assets alone are reported to be worth around ₹333.5 crore.

Asset declarations are mandatory for candidates contesting parliamentary elections or filing nominations to the Rajya Sabha. These affidavits provide transparency regarding the financial background of political leaders and help voters and authorities understand the wealth and liabilities of candidates entering public office.
