You Cannot Claim 400 Seats In Democracy: Prakash Raj!
Even for the Karnataka elections Prakash Raj indirectly urged voters to not vote for the BJP
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 March 2024 8:15 AM GMTPrakash Raj is a celebrated actor who needs no introduction. The veteran actor is a recipient of a few National awards which is a parameter for his acting brilliance. The senior actor is also politically active and known for his no-nonsense nature. He even tried his luck in the elections but could not succeed.
However, that did not stop him from doing political activism. He has the image of a fierce BJP critic and he won't leave any stone unturned to target Narendra Modi and his government. It has to be mentioned here that earlier Prakash Raj was with KCR when he was in Maharashtra meeting the big leaders for the alternate front.
Even for the Karnataka elections Prakash Raj indirectly urged voters to not vote for the BJP. Highlighting the alleged communal issues the actor urged one and all to vote the communal forces out of the state.
The BJP took the Lok Sabha elections prestigiously and wants to win the third consecutive election. Not just that the party also wants big numbers this time. The ruling party set its eyes on 400 seats. The leaders are saying the same at the meetings.
Compared to other leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is using the phrase more. He has been saying that the alliance would win 400 seats while the BJP would win 370 seats on its own.
Amid this Prakash Raj made some sensational comments. He said that those who have done 420 things are talking about winning the 400 seats. Many say that his comments are an indirect dig at the BJP and Narendra Modi.
Prakash Raj said that any party saying they will win 400 seats should be seen as arrogant as it is not possible in a democracy. The logic he has for this is that in a democracy people will give the seats to parties by voting for them and parties cannot claim the seats.
His comments are not doing rounds as they came ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Both BJP and opposition parties are confident of the win and they are making tall claims about this.
