Done With Chandrayaan-3, ISRO Launched Solar Mission!

India’s space agency Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scripted history with a successful Lunar mission and made Indians proud. ISRO earned praise from all over the world as India became the first country to land on the Moon’s south pole and the lunar mission was a cost-effective one.

Having done with the Lunar mission, ISRO moved its focus onto the mission Sun. Aditya-L1 mission which is aimed at studying the sun was successfully launched from Sriharikota launch pad earlier today. There are a lot of specialties in the Solar mission.

Aditya L1 is dubbed as the first Solar mission of India which was started to study the Sun. Just like Chandrayaan-3, Aditya L1 is also equipped with a few pieces of equipment that will study the planet and send the concerned data to ISRO.

Ahead of the launch of Aditya L1Spacecraft, the ISRO Chairman sought divine blessings at the temple. It is said that the cost of the Solar mission is less than that of the lunar mission. On top of this, the spacecraft is slated to have a long journey to reach the Sun’s surface.

The spacecraft will travel as many as 1.5 million km to reach the Sun’s surface. For this, the spacecraft will take four months and will land at the Lagrange point. After a successful landing, Aditya L1 will study the layers on the sun’s surface and gather crucial information that will come in handy in studying the planet.

Aditya L1 carried seven instruments that will come in handy in studying the Sun’s surface. It will take over 120 days for the spacecraft to land on the surface to start its work. Indians who prayed for Chandrayaan-3 are now praying for the successful mission of Aditya L1.

While Aditya L1 is the first Solar Mission for India, with this, India became the sixth nation in the world that shot spacecraft at the Sun. Earlier, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the European Space Agency, the Japan Space Agency, and China’s Space Agency launched Solar missions. Now India entered the elite club with the Aditya L1 Spacecraft launch.
