The audit report regarding the chief ministers of the Indian states has presented a new list of the richest chief minister and also the candidates with the highest number of criminal cases filed against them.

When it comes to which of the richest chief minister is Andhra Pradesh, chief minister Chandrababu, who is on top of the list.

According to the Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) our Telugu states CMs are the richest. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu is the richest CM in the country with assets worth of Rs 931 crore. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy stands 7th in the Richest CM list with assets of Rs 30 crore.

The ADR report ranks current Chief Ministers' assets. KCR, as former CM of Telangana, isn't included. His last declared family assets (2023 elections) were around ₹59 crore, per affidavits on MyNeta and election reports.

Jagan Mohan Reddy isn't a current CM, so he's not in ADR's latest report on sitting chief ministers. His last declared family assets in the 2024 elections were around ₹529 crore, per ADR data, less than Naidu's ₹931 crore but still among India's wealthiest politicians.

Based on ADR's Dec 2024 report, linked to 2025 here's a tentative top 5 Indian CMs with declared criminal cases:

2. MK Stalin (Tamil Nadu): 47

3. Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh): 19

4. Siddaramaiah (Karnataka): 13
