Both parties are going forward with the aim to win. Many say that the winning party not only forms the government but also survives. The party that loses might face a big threat as the party might vanish from the political picture.
Considering the current developments many say that this might happen. There is a strong opinion that one party might vanish after the 2024 elections. The observers say that if the BJP comes to power at the Centre again and the TDP alliance comes to power in AP, then the YCP MLAs might join the BJP.
If the INDIA bloc comes to power at the Centre and the TDP alliance comes to power in AP then the YCP MLA might take the route of the AP Congress led by Sharmila. A big debate is going on that if the TDP alliance loses the elections then the MLAs might join the party which comes to power at the Centre. It is said that the MLAs are not ready to sit in the opposition parties for five years as everyone wants power. In the process of aiming for power, they might join the ruling party.
The observers say that the politicians don’t have the nature to fight for the people won't get as well. The election cost is said to be the reason behind the MLAs looking at the ruling party. We cannot say that the same is the question across the nation. If we look at Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, the MLAs in opposition parties often target the ruling party.
They are continuing with their principles. Spending more money than capability is the reason behind the leaders' shifting loyalties between the parties in the Telugu states. They are spending crores of rupees on the elections. When such a large amount was put into political gambling, the outcome would be disastrous if anything happens.
Compared to the other states, revenge politics are increasing in the Telugu states. Those who lost have to face a lot of humiliation. At the same time, there will also be pressures. The nature of the two national parties is also said to be similar. Earlier Congress encouraged defections largely. A conspiracy was made to dethrone Senior NTR within one and a half years after he became the CM.
BJP which often says it is different from the Congress is also doing the same. Considering all of this it is common for the candidates to have a fear about the future and with this they are looking at the ruling party. Those who are in power will be of the opinion to wipe out the opposition. We cannot take names as almost everyone is the same. That’s why the candidates are leaving the parties for the ruling party barring a few loyalists. This raises a doubt on the role of the opposition. Though this is not a good sign this is the harsh reality.
