WTH! 2 More Indian Pilots Fail Drug Test!

It is already known that the recent turbulence that was observed in an Air India flight became a global sensation. The flight dropped 300 feet in altitude in a single passage and it left the passengers extremely distressed inside the cabin. There were a few injuries that were reported as well.

And now the latest developments are suggesting that the Air India authorities have carried out multiple tests to their pilots, which has resulted in extremely shocking results.

Two more Air India pilots have failed the preliminary drug test ordered by the airline following the Phuket-Delhi flight incident that left several passengers injured.

The pilots have been suspended briefly from duties till further notice, while their final test results are awaited. More than 300 Air India pilots have undergone drug screening so far, after the pilot-in-command of the Phuket-Delhi flight tested positive for marijuana.

It is extremely shocking to see one of the most reputed airway companies in the world and certainly one of the biggest civil deviation providers in India facing such a situation with regard to their pilots.

But it is ultimately good that the company is placing such emphasis on the safety of the passengers by testing their pilots vigorously. This is the kind of proactive approach that is expected from top companies like Air India and this group is now finally acting on the same.
