Sensational: Court Orders Woman To Pay Alimony For Ex-Hubby!

Alimony is a maintenance that is given to wives by the husband after the separation. In most cases, wives will be dependent on their husbands. It is the facility that allows wives to get support from ex-spouses for their expenses. In the majority of cases, men are directed to pay money to ex-wives.

Now a verdict given by the Court became the talk of the town as a wife was directed to pay alimony to her husband. The Court found that the allegations made by the wife in the case are wrong and the husband did not harass her. For this, the Court directed the woman to pay Rs 5000 every month as alimony.

Going into details a person named Aman who is from Ujjain met a girl in 2020 and both fell in love. The couple tied the knot the next year. Shortly after the marriage, Aman went to his parents as his wife started harassing him.

With this, the lady filed a police complaint saying that her husband is missing. She also alleged that her husband is harassing her for the dowry. She moved the court seeking directives of alimony from her husband.

The issue went to the notice of the Court. After hearing the arguments of both sides and changes in the versions of the woman, the Court found that there is nothing wrong on the side of the man and the woman is at fault. With this, the Court gave orders directing the woman to pay Rs 5000 as alimony every month as the husband is unemployed.

The court judgment might serve as a warning to women who knock on the doors of the Court with wrong allegations seeking alimony. Married women are given protection from any sort of harassment. But in some cases, women file wrong cases.
