Elon Musk Loses Richest Person Tag, Amazon Chief Takes Over!

Tesla Boss has been holding on to the position of the richest man in the world for some time. Despite facing some setbacks and losing the position for a brief period, he bounced back and reached the top position. Thanks to the growth of Tesla shares he had a good time as far as his wealth is concerned.

But Elon Musk faces a big shock as he yet again lost the position. Due to a dip in the Tesla shares he lost the position to Jeff Bezos. There is just a slight difference between the worth of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. But the slight difference led to Elon Musk losing the spot.

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index said that Elon Musk saw his wealth dipping while Jeff Bezos saw an uptick in wealth. Drawing a comparison between them, Elon Musk lost $31billion this year while Jeff Bezos earned as much as $23bn.

Elon Musk’s wealth stood at $198bn while Amazon founder Jeff Bezos's wealth is at $200bn. The difference between the worth of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos is not that big. But the difference was enough to make him lose the position.

The rise in Amazon shares and the dip in Tesla shares led to the change in positions of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. Elon Musk was restricted to second place while the Amazon Founder reached the top place.
