Former Andhra Pradesh minister Ambati Rambabu has shared his opinion on OG. While the film has been performing well in terms of collections, Ambati gave a negative review and called it a disappointment.

He posted his views on social media platform X, where he said that though he wished for the film’s success, the final result was not good.

According to him, only Pawan Kalyan’s hardcore fans are praising OG, but the neutral audience is not enjoying it. Ambati made it clear that fans may not accept his opinion, but he believes he is only telling the truth.

In his post, he also used a sharp Telugu phrase, “దానయ్య.. దండగ పడ్డావయ్యా”, which can be loosely translated as “Dhanayya, have you taken a beating?” This was seen as a mocking remark aimed at the film’s performance.

Ambati’s comments have created a stir because he is a political rival of Pawan Kalyan. Even though he stated that he wanted OG to succeed, his negative remarks suggest otherwise. Many believe his review has more to do with politics than cinema. The fact that a former cabinet minister is so concerned about the verdict of a film is strange to the eye, we must say.
