Seven groups working against Ambati Rambabu

Ambati Rambabu, the feisty minister with a penchant for theatrics, is facing problems on his home turf of Sattenapalli. With elections round the corner, Ambati is facing growing dissidence and threats not to work for the party at the time of the polls. Though he is putting on a brave front, he is said to be quite worried.

Despite his accessibility and despite all his endearing theatrics that add charisma to him, he is facing trouble. There are at least six groups working against him. They are accusing that he has been promoting only those who come from his community.

Already several leaders have left the YSRCP and joined the rival TDP in protest against Rambabu’s ways. Some others are said to be in touch with the leaders of the other parties. Sources say that there could be more dissidence as the time passes by and elections come closer.

Some leaders have already met the party top leadership, including Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and Vijaysai Reddy and expressed their discontent over Rambabu’s ways. But, Rambabu, despite the worries, feels that he can sail through this time thanks to YS Jagan factor. He is also said to be optimistic that the dissidence will die down by the time the electioneering begins.
