Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu paid a visit to the Polavaram project the other day. This marked the first visit in his capacity as the CM. It is said that he asked the officials about the status of the construction and asked for reports on this.

A day after this former Irrigation Minister Ambati Rambabu reacted to CBN’s visit and made some crucial comments. He said that the Polavaram Project is very complicated and no one can understand it. Giving a reason to this he said that even he could not understand the project.

"After making multiple visits and meeting advisors he understood that the project cannot be completed anytime soon and he was the first one to talk about this," Ambati said.

With this people are expressing dissatisfaction with him. They are asking what he had done when he was the Irrigation Minister. They are asking if he could not understand the project even in five years as his party was in power.

People are highlighting the comments he made in the past. Once he said the project’s height would not be changed and there was no compromise on this. They are saying that the leaders blamed the previous government on many issues and Polavaram is no different.

Another crucial point the people are using here is that Ambati Rambabu focused more on films than his portfolio. They are citing Bro film as an example. After the film was released Ambati Rambabu actively gave interviews to media channels on the films and expressed his dissatisfaction with Shyam Babu's character.

Not just that he even held press meetings on Pawan Kalyan’s films and the ticket issue. Both issues won't fall under his portfolio as Irrigation Minister. But Rambabu focused on other issues rather than his portfolio is what people are saying.
