Amid Political Suspense, Imran Khan Granted Bail!

What is going on in Pakistan is nothing short of any thriller. The general elections were held amid tense situations recently. The election results are also seeing many twists and turns.No party got the required majority to form the government. However, the parties are claiming that they will form the government.

Adding a new twist, former Prime Minister Imran Khan was granted bail in a few cases. He was granted bail by the anti-terrorism court (ATC) in as many as 12 cases. Despite getting bail, Imran Khan might not step out of jail as he is dealing with many cases.

Amid political confusion in Pakistan, Imran Khan was granted bail. This can be seen as a big development. At a time when individuals backed by Imran Khan’s party won a good number of seats, political observers say that we might see a political sensation in the country.

Either Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founded by Imran Khan might form the government on its own or we might see the first coalition government in Pakistan with two parties joining hands. It is said that the talks are underway for this.

Ahead of the elections, Imran Khan faced a big blow as his party was directed not to take part in any election campaign. Adding salt to the wounds, he and a former Minister were slapped with a jail term in addition to the punishment he was slapped with in other cases.
