He Is A Home Minister But Doesn't Own A Car!

While Narendra Modi is the face of the BJP, Amit Shah is the heart of it. The political observers say that the Union Home Minister is the Chanakya and draws strategies for the party. He filed the nomination papers from his sitting seat Gandhi Nagar.

Amit Shah has a long association with the party. Earlier he was the MLA and now he is the MP from the Gandhi Nagar seat. However, he has no car on his own. It's not that he doesn't have assets. But he doesn't own a car.

Going by the information in the election affidavit as per the media reports, Amit Shah has assets worth Rs 36 Cr, including movable assets of Rs 20 Cr and immovable assets worth Rs 16 cr. While his wife has jewelery worth Rs 1.10 cr, he owns jewelery worth Rs 72 lakh.

On the other hand, he has a loan of Rs 15.77 lakh and his annual income is Rs 75.09 lakh. His wife Sonal Shah has assets of over Rs 31 crore. Her loan stands at Rs 26.32 lakh
